The datapad slid across the table, entering just the edge of my field of view. At first I didn't even realize it was there, my little paradise of a fruit bowl had kept me rather distracted. After a few moments, my mind finally clued in, that something was different with the scene that I had been staring at. Absentmindedly, my eyes looked over at the intruding grey bordered object, resting near my tray.
